VICTORY.

so tomorrow i'll be flying back to UK.
should be used to it by now. in fact, I am.
but this trip will differ slightly from the other trips I've made the past two years.
I will be travelling alone. ALL alone.
not only physically but mentally as well.
still not clear?

ok.

for the past 1½, almost 2 years I have travelled n-times.
with different people.
except my little buddy who has accompanied me wherever I've gone.
for nearly 2 years.

but from now on, I'm leaving him behind.
this time i will be all on my own.
i am not saying goodbye.
i am saying, until we meet again.
because i will be back.
by then,
he will still be placed on the top row of my shelf.
we will meet again.
indeed we have had some nice trips together.
many people in many countries recognize him,
but the reason he started accompanying me on my trips was because someone else could not make it.
a substitute I got really attached to,
because he reminded me of that someone,
his look and his smell.
But I do not need to get reminded anymore,
so the journey ends here.
because he belongs to the past.
and I belong to the future.

until we meet again,
i will explore the world on my own.
